These are great to use as shelves and storage. The assemble using double sided tape. I was a little concerned that they'd be weak and hard to put together, but trust me--they're strong and couldn't be easier to assemble. I got the espresso color and they look great on the hardwood floors in my office. Great product!

The cubes look amazing and are REALLY simple to assemble. The ability to add or remove, alternate colors, etc. makes them even more useful!
I would suggest these to anyone looking to conserve space while creating a great looking environment. The instructions are really short, quickly review them, and you'll have these put together within minutes.
The construction is very sturdy and the 3M taping portions are surprisingly strong.
Save money, create a better looking space, and do it easily!

I love this cube. It's a cinch to put together and it's very light. The colors are bright and happy and they hold a good supply of books or magazines. I'm using mine on the nightstand for extra storage and organizing..
They are contemporary with a clean look and style. Perfect to brighten up a dark corner and to add a bit of fun to your frenzy !!!

Ok, so I ordered three of these in a hurry and, silly me, read the comments AFTER my purchase. I knew exactly what I wanted and the color and this fit the bill. I did not anticipate the assembly part of it....double sided tape???? For real??? Well they arrived and I assembled them and was surprised as to how sturdy they were. I'm impressed! I am using these as book shelves and they are working out very well. I will be ordering a few more of these as I underestimated how many books I had.

The adhesive is very strong, so make sure you align correctly before you allow the boards to join. There's no fudging once they touch.
Note that the given dimensions, (11.34" deep, 13.4" wide and 12.6" tall), are the outside measurements. The horizontal boards are 5/8" thick, and the vertical boards are 7/8" thick, so the interior space is 11.34" deep, 11.65" wide and 11.35" tall. So if you're using this as a little bookcase, it's too short to accomodate standard ring binders. Get the Cube "Plus", which is 13.75" tall inside.
